4 HOURS PER WEEK (2 HOURS X 2 NIGHTS)
The Pre-Competitive program prepares gymnasts for demonstrations, shows, displays and for future competitive competitions.
The gymnasts follow an annual training plan outlining body and apparatus technique and ballet training. We focus on development of specific rhythmic gymnastics skills, flexibility, eye-hand coordination, overall coordination, balance, endurance, speed and strength. Gymnasts who excel in the pre-competitive program will be selected into the competitive program the following season.
*Interested gymnasts will be evaluated by the Head Coach for placement in the pre-competitive program.
Black tank top or bodysuit, black gym shorts or tights and toe shoes. Hair must be pulled back and secured tightly in a ponytail or bun.
