Gymnaestrada
Gymnaestrada gives the opportunity for gymnasts to celebrate movement and physical activity in a non-competitive environment while capturing the true essence of the ‘Gymnastics for All’ and ‘Active for Life’ philosophies of sport and recreation.
Gymnaestrada routines consist of a large group of participants ages 9 and up. Routines are made to explore and push the boundaries of gymnastics.
Canadian and World Gymnaestradas are held every 4 years.
Pirouette Gymnaestrada Team
Most recently, Pirouette is sent a group of 12 gymnasts to the 2018 Canadian Gymnaestrada held in Richmond, BC.
Pirouette RG has represented Team Canada at 4 World Gymnaestradas (Berlin 1995, Lisbon 2003, Dornbirn 2007 and Helsinki 2015) and many National and Provincial Gymnaestradas as well.
